If you are barely paying attention I can see how you could become seduced by the media and their extremely pro-Democrat slant. The mainstream media frame every story from the DNC perspective. And this is all-inclusive. It includes the subtle that many might miss as a being part of the message.
This morning I glanced up from reading newspapers online to see my wife had on the NBC early morning program. As Florida residents she is concerned about this latest hurricane, and wanted the latest up-to-date information.
Their reporter was on the ground in North Carolina discussing how FEMA was hard at work in support of those affected by the last storm. The first thing I noticed was that she was being photographed in front of pallets of bottle water. The simple photo negating the argument that this administration has done nothing to assist the people of North Carolina with FEMA.
Of course the NBC reporter was praising FEMA and the government response to the disaster, so the message was clearly pro-administration, but just in case you were busy getting dressed for work, using the blow dryer, or too busy putting on make-up to actually hear the entire message the picture was clear; look at all this water, look at these pallets of water, the government has responded, all those claims about slow assistance and lack of assistance are lies.
As I’m seeing this pro-administration broadcast in full support of the Democrats and their candidates and administration I’m reading that our own Governor DeSantis refused calls from Kamala to discuss this new pending disaster.
And of course the framing of the article was that DeSantis and the Republicans voted to defund FEMA in some last round of voting, and since DeSantis was refusing calls this demonstrated a callous disregard for the people of our state, and lack of concern for all the government, this government, wanted to do to assist him.
Excuse me.
Last I saw Kamala wasn’t President yet. It isn’t her place to call and lend assistance. That call comes from the President, not the Vice President. Never has been the responsibility before, for the VP to make the call reassuring the state governor that help will be provided after the storm goes through. Only in an election year where the VP is running to be President would it be important for the VP to make that “Presidential call”, to bolster her standing as being more “Presidential”, and being “large and in charge”.
Historically and factually it is Biden who is supposed to make that call. Not Kamala.
To answer the call from Kamala is to participate in the charade that Kamala is handing all the Presidential duties, already in charge, already strong and capable and working in the job itself.
By making that call, and making it repeatedly it is Kamala who is politicizing the storm, not DeSantis.
But you wouldn’t know that from the mainstream media. They pilloried DeSantis for not accepting the call from the Vice President.
And today there is mainstream media amplification on the story that Republicans voted against the added funding for FEMA just recently, in a stop-gap funding bill that was meant to fund agencies to keep the government funded through I believe December 20TH of this year.
But as usual you have to read about the actual bill to understand why Republicans in areas such as Florida, who are heavily dependent upon FEMA when storms hit, and during hurricane season they hit with a regularity.
The language in the bill said that FEMA could use the funds for non-FEMA related issues. In other words they could spend a billion dollars of the twenty billion being allocated from the new bill on non-FEMA programs such as using the funds for illegals in food, water and shelter. Republicans objected to this, as they knew by the time of the vote that multiple billions had been diverted from FEMA for illegals.
At first blush it sounds insane for Florida politicians to vote against added funding for FEMA while it is still hurricane season. But as usual you have to dig deeper than the mainstream headlines.
All of the advice we seem to be getting on this storm is “stand six feet apart and wear a mask”.
It doesn’t make any sense.
The wife said to me this morning, the TV babe said to unplug all electric vehicles. So we have to run to the garage and unplug the golf cart. Why? Is that because flooding might get to four feet and short out the electric? What electric, if flooding get to four feet electricity will be down, off, gone. You can’t short out a circuit that isn’t “on”.
Who is giving this advice? My wife says the house will catch on fire. How?
How does it catch on fire if we are under four foot of flood waters and the electric is off?
Nothing I hear from the media makes sense.
And it is coming from every direction on every subject.
Listen, if the story on Springfield, Ohio didn’t make you keenly aware that the “Great Replacement Theory” is real, well, there is no hope for you. Democrats are fast-tracking citizenship for plane loads of Haitian immigrants and flying them into the US as fast as they possibly can ahead of the November election in order to bolster Democrat votes. Our wonderful President Biden bypassed all normal citizenship rules and regulations to declare the Haitians US citizens by decree, and is actively flying them into the us.
If adding twenty thousand people from outside the US from a third-world country into a small US city with an original population of fifty-thousand doesn’t concern you in the extreme, you have no common sense at all.
Every child in school in Springfield will suffer as a result of overcrowding the schools with a people that doesn’t speak English as a first language, and where the curriculum has to be covered slower to accommodate those who have trouble processing the language barriers in learning. The children of Springfield will sit and learn at the same slower pace. That is just factual. Teachers will be overwhelmed attempting to assimilate students who can’t speak the language and yet need to learn.
Every renter in Springfield will suffer as the deluge of new residents create a need for apartments and living space resulting in higher rents. And all citizens in Springfield will suffer from inevitable gang violence and crime that accompanies such huge transfers of migrants into a new community.
As our politicians thieve enough money to allow them to avoid living anywhere near Springfield, or any Springfield for that matter.
As the Carolinas and parts of Georgia reeled from the recent disaster Presidential nominee Kamala Harris was recording on a podcast “Call me Daddy”, a salacious podcast advising young girls across America how to be aggressive sexually, and deal with men in todays rather fraught environment of hooking up and casual sex culture.
It was lost on every Liberal and Democrat that it is fitting that a woman who got her start in politics as Willy Brown’s side piece, while Willie was married mind you, would go on a podcast all about random casual sex, after all she has a history of experience to share. But it was also lost on all Liberals that perhaps doing such a podcast while they were still getting bodies out of trees in North Carolina was bad form.
Kamala Harris’ handlers are smart enough to realize that abortion is the number one motivating subject for young college educated women in America, and they are a force that needs mobilizing to the polls this November. Young college educated sexually active females see killing their babies as an absolute right. forget all the pills, the birth control methods currently available, even morning after pills. When you have an active sex life and high body count the easiest out is to just abort your child.
Hey, living that “Sex and the City” lifestyle is hard. And navigating men when they just cannot accept a strong, high body count female fully in charge of her sexuality is even more difficult. Kamala going onto a podcast where the host had to hide the fact she got married from her “swinging single” audience, because being married is just so traditional and outdated, well the world of single females out there need to hear that where abortion and killing your own offspring is concerned, Kamala has their back.
This is all part of the official narrative, the messaging, the Party line. Endorsed by every morning show “Babe” with a microphone living in the big city, with the big network job, living the lifestyle that Alex endorses on the podcast. I mean, there are young women “living the dream” in every major American city, adding weekly to that body count, running hard at night, meeting other fascinating young people, hey, they didn’t opt for the small town life in some backwater. They pay high rents, and eat Pho, and Shawarma. They are all the new college educated feminist woman.
And not one of them are really happy and satisfied with their lives. Go figure.
I am thankful that this storm appears to be missing our own residence, but do feel for those across the state where the storm is heading. I have customers in the path of the storm, and some have suffered enough of late with previous storms from which they were still recovering. The corridor where this one is heading has been suffering enough of late. As I type from the fishbowl family room surrounded by windows a man is installing our hurricane shutters for us in this one room where we don’t have hurricane impact glass. I think it is an unnecessary precaution, but hey, you argue with the wife.
As I try to tell anyone who will listen, I may be the loudest, but I’m not in charge, and never have been.
I’m not real worried about this storm, the house has been here since the early 1960’s.
They hype the storm’s impact all day at all hours on the news. Selling fear to all, when only a few need to heed the call.
I guess it is difficult to ignore the propaganda, the wife has bought in, and the shutters are going up.
If the propaganda can affect this house it can affect every household.
Which doesn’t bode well for us all in November.
Are there more hometown homespun girls out there with a low body count living the “trad” lifestyle with a sense of pride and fulfillment? Or are there more “Girls” and “Sex and the City” girls out there living that third wave feminist lifestyle, miserable as hell, with the Ukrainian flag and “I heart Kamala” in their bios, who watch the reporter babe in front of the pallets and pallets of water, and who buy into the narrative?
We will see in November.
One thing is for sure.
None of those high body count babes live in Springfield, Ohio. They don’t have good Shawarma or Pho. Although soon there will be some great Haitian food restaurants.
