It Infuriates

The Charlie Kirk assassination has become a real Rorshach test on which political side has lost their humanity, especially in light of the firing of Jimmy Kimmel hard on the heels of the terrible loss of Charlie Kirk.

Those who lack all compassion and sympathy for a man murdered in broad daylight in front of his children, are in actual mourning for Kimmel losing his job. His job. Not his life. Go figure.

Make no mistake the Kirk murder was a political assassination. There are just a few individuals on the Right who are making a huge, huge impact on the mood of the nation concerning politics, really changing hearts and minds. The obvious one is Donald J. Trump himself, galvanizing the MAGA movement, which has become the dominant political force of our time right now. Charlie Kirk was changing the attitude of America’s youth, creating an army of young men who were becoming conservative, and more aligned with the Republican Party. And he was doing this in “enemy” territory, the campus. The main bastion of Far Left doctrine.

Off hand I’d say that Scott Pressler was another individual out there toiling to make a difference. He is signing people up as Republicans each week, and did the hard work on the ground in Pennsylvania to overcome a huge Republican deficit in affiliation. He travels from state, to state, working weekends, nights, full time it appears, to sign up new voters for the Republican Party.

All three of these men fit the mold of “one man who can make a difference”, and unfortunately we’ve now lost Charlie Kirk and his outsized influence. I do not see how he is replaced. You can’t fake sincerity, and Charlie Kirk had sincerity, commitment, dedication, and so much more.

To witness the far left denigrate his memory, and not recognize our collective loss, is telling. Political assassinations are for third world developing nations, Banana Republics, not the United States of America. Where we choose to debate, discuss, and reason our differences.

But it must be said that a level of evil was brought into American politics by the Clintons, who claimed Republicans wanted to “kill grandma”, that we Republicans were “less than” as in “deplorable”. Her successor Barack Obama followed her evil lead, claiming that Republicans clung to their “guns and religion”, painting Republicans as some kind of backwoods hick, ill-educated and ignorant.

The Clintons murdered the Tip O’Neill spirit in the Democratic Party to cross the aisle and negotiate. They ushered in the idea that it was ridiculous to expect to negotiate with the scum they saw from their side of the aisle, and instead sought to denigrate Republicans at every turn. The mainstream media was complicit. All questioning of Republicans on the news, or talking head Sunday Morning shows put Republicans on the defensive. While coddling and endorsing the Democrat point-of-view.

The clearly visible sneer evinced by Hillary at the mere mention of a Republican gave every Democrat permission to evicerate Republicans in any and every discussion. In a clear measure of projection Democrats painted Republicans as evil, scheming, crooked, and uncaring.

In the wake of the Charlie Kirk assassination, which Party appears to be uncaring?

As for the Kimmel firing, somehow we have allowed the Left to monopolize the airwaves, with every late night show becoming an infomercial for the Democrat Party, and hours of morning shows, and “The View” just bashing conservatives and Republicans full-time.

Whatever happened to “equal time” laws in the FCC?

The Hens at “The View” spew hatred and venom towards all things Republicans all day, everyday. And if you begin to watch any of the network morning programs with a critical eye, that is a discerning view of determining what you are being told, and asking why and how the subject at hand is being approached, you will find that every story fits the mainstream media Democratic Party narrative.

In the world of morning programming Covid shots are good and effective, eating red meat is awful for your health, Ozempic is a “wonder drug” that can assist you in losing weight, depression is omnipresent and there is no harm in seeking a “qualified professional” to offer helpful prescription drugs to cope, and every minority featured is a success story who has had to overcome racism, racism, and more racism to achieve. Listen to the morning talk shows long enough and you could be convinced a paraplegic could make the Olympic Team. Listen even more and you’d want our Olympic Team replaced by paraplegics. The Far Left view is championed full-time, while conservatives are viewed as brain dead and heartless.

When the wife puts on the morning shows as I sit and peruse news sites on the computer, and the hosts manage to attract my half-attention, it takes less than three minutes time for them to prompt me to begin to yell at the screen, as their propaganda spewing talking heads are so nakedly corrupt in their approach.

A man loses his life in a very public execution and the Left actually applauds. Another man loses his job for being callous about that death, and the Left mourns his sacking.

Excuse me, but is there a more clear indication of which side of the political aisle has become heartless and cold?

Their recent Presidential Candidate the Cackling Hen just wrote a book where she claimed to want Pete Buttigieg as her running mate, but thought America was too racist and bigoted to vote for a gay man. So she didn’t select him for that very reason, that he was a gay man. Instead she went with a married man who just appeared to be flamboyantly gay.

Uh, excuse me, isn’t that the definition of being bigoted, you didn’t choose him specifically because he was a gay man?

That is how screwed up the thought process is over on the Left. Impure actions are justified by what are viewed as pure thoughts.

To live through this past week as a Republican should be a lesson that we cannot work with the opposition Party, that has become impossible. There is no reasoning with a cult. Their belief in their insanity is complete. Their faith in their own misguided righteousness is in total.

And you know, if you step away from Party, and just make some attempt at being human, you begin to see that there is a smugness that accompanies the Left’s positions that makes them truly ugly.

I was just in Atlantic City, and to be social I agreed to sit and play blackjack because the game is more communal. The friend I’d met there for dinner wanted to continue to commiserate and so we retired from the dinner table to the blackjack table. I never, ever play blackjack at the casino, not in thirty years. But since it gave us the chance to converse, and hang out, in ways that cannot be accomplished at the Craps table, I agreed to sit and play.

And we began to get our brains beaten in. The dealer won, won again, then won some more. Pulling four cards to 21. Then five cards to 21. At one point I exclaimed to the nearby Pit Boss that his dealer appeared to be enjoying himself a little too much beating us hand, after hand.

And then he beat us again, and this time he smirked. “Ahhh”, I cried out from the table, to the pit boss, “I don’t mind getting my brains beat out on every hand, sir, but I’ll be damned if I’ll sit here and have your dealer smirk at us when he wins”. I told the young dealer that I didn’t appreciate his insolence, and that he should remember that he doesn’t get to keep the winnings, they go to the heartless casino.

These days I view Democrats as having a permanent smirk. The same one I saw on the face of that dealer.

And perhaps the worst part is that I see that smirk as they denigrate Charlie Kirk after his untimely, and unnecessary demise. AOC just gave a very public speech remembering him in all the wrong ways, and the speech was one long smirk.

The problem is, twenty-five percent of our nation is so convinced their wayward ways are correct, they love the smirk. As if somehow they gain from our loss of Charlie Kirk.

We are a long God Damned way from the days of Tip O’Neill I can tell you that.

Evil lives my friend, and it exists in the Democrat Party.

When you cannot demonstrate enough humanity for the assassination of another human, no matter their politics, when you cannot feel a sorrow for his children that had to witness daddy get murdered, you’ve lost your soul. Seriously. You aren’t right in the head as my old aunt used to say.

Somehow, in the Democrat mind, a man who wore blackface and had women jump on trampolines for the sole purpose of having their ample breasts bounce and sway for the camera, managed to rehabilitate himself by going on television and attacking all things Republican at full throat. And this behavior allowed for forgiveness for all previous piggish frat boy behavior, to the extent that the Left will mourn his job loss.

Sorry, I find some level of insanity in that.

The Left simply cannot hide their very sincere disdain for everyone on the Right.

The smirk as they speak gives them away every time.
