Chinese spies just love Democrats. Eric Swalwell “made love” to one literally, named Fang Fang. Dianne Feinstein hired one as her driver for over twenty years. And now we find that one was in the employ of both Andrew Cuomo as Governor of New York, and Governor Hochul who succeeded him. One does wonder if perhaps we’ve found three spies in the employ, or under the employ in the Swalwell case, we might just begin a review of all Democratic staff nationwide.
At this point our government is so screwed up and dysfunctional I truly wonder exactly what information could be gleaned from a Democratic administration that would yield impressive results.

A mistake we made early on in this country was not nationalizing insurance as a “utility” and treating it as a government supervised and regulated entity.
Insurance costs across the board are just increasing at alarming rates. For everything.
If they have enough cash to put that Gecko and “Doug” on television every other minute, plus cover the actual costs of the repairs, plus make stockholders ridiculously wealthy, then insurance companies are making too much from us all. Those commercials play on loop, we all feel as if Flo lives in our neighborhood, her and her band of white-clad soldiers for Progressive.
I realize government screws up everything they touch, and I hate to recommend they slide a hand into any endeavor, but property insurance, and insurance in general should have never been left to the private sector. It should be funded as a collective.
Insurance company profits are into the billions. We all pay too much. And because the banks require us to insure an asset where they’ve lent money, we have to pay it.
I say, if the banks have some interest in making sure “their” asset is secured, they can help pay the homeowners, fire, and storm insurance costs along with us. We pay for the risk, they are indemnified from loss. How wonderful.
I hate insurance companies, I just loathe them.

Kamala Harris for President. President of the United States. Of America. You have to be kidding. You would’t want to walk into your local branch bank and see her running it, you’d worry about your cash, and bank management in general. If she was your kid’s school principal you’d want to remove your child from the school. If she was hired as the hostess at your favorite restaurant you’d cringe over hearing her cackle as she greets you and walks you to the table.
And yet you people are even giving consideration to electing her our President?
None of this can be real. Somehow we all woke up absent any President at all, with the prospect of having an empty suit as our President. How does this happen? How?
*
The same idiots who would pull the Kamala Harris lever are the ones living in cities where they see things over run by homeless, open air drug markets and drug use, the park where they wish they could take their children consumed by homeless tents, illegals taking over hotel after hotel. Crime increasing with a sense of public safety in free-fall decline. The schools they send their kids becoming an indoctrination center for the Left, and learning becoming a myth.
And yet there they are. Pulling the “D” lever. As if all these things aren’t connected.
Incredible.

Fall weather has my wife in love with “sweater weather”, and me wishing we could get home to South Florida beaches. She wants every window open, I want to feel locked up tight and away from the chill. She wants a cup of tea and a blanket on the sofa, I want it to warm up so I get that “I need a cold beer” attitude. She is sliding into “yeah its pumpkin spice season, I just want a God’s honest American cup of coffee. It is barely September and I’m wearing the long sleeve Henley’s already. I’ve got to get out of the mid-Atlantic before it begins to get dark at 4PM and it feels as if all life has ceased to exist past 5PM.
Get me back to Florida, I won’t complain a bit about the humidity and heat. I promise. Ahhhh, sitting in Jupiter by where the intercostal meets the ocean, drinking a cold one feeling the island breeze. That is the way October should be. Warm, or at least balmy, breezy, the sun still strong on your face.

Eight months. Boeing has stranded two astronauts in space for eight months. Apparently NASA has no back-up contingency plan for such an event, and Boeing has somehow collapsed in capabilities and efficiencies to the extent it has been eight months and these two astronauts are stuck in space.
That is where we are now. As a nation. This speaks volumes about all of us.
Is DEI involved? Who knows. Have corporations taken their focus off of the product and gotten too involved in social causes and political causes? Who knows.
Boeing, who makes flying machines we all rely on, has apparently become rather unreliable.
And for eight months no one seems to care to create some sense of emergency to clean up their act.

There are no penalties on one side for egregious behavior anymore. Democrats can create a family slush fund and sell US policy to Ukraine and China for personal gain, detail the entire criminal enterprise on a laptop, and here is the rub. They not only face no penalty, they are exulted and praised.
While on the other side of the political divide you go to jail for process crimes. A former Attorney General can ignore a congressional subpoena, while a Republican Chief of Staff, or advisor goes to jail for the same offense.
I believe these two paragraphs are related. I’ve heard of no firings at Boeing, no stock issues, no shake-up, it appears that despite the company stranding two astronauts this morning it was “business as usual” at good old government subsidized Boeing.
Oh, what, you don’t consider all those government contract with Boeing to be a “subsidy”? They earn that money? You don’t think there is a bit of shenanigans in the mix? Boeing inflates the contracts, and the added money flows back to campaigns and dark money groups to keep the government officials signing the contracts in power?
If your game is to just flow huge sums of cash and rake it a portion off for self gain, the product is going to be ignored, because you are no longer in the business of making flying machines, you are in the business of cash flow grift.
Methinks that has become the new American corporate pastime.

One thing about Instagram, and Tik Tok, while yes indeed it does make “stars” out of the few of talent out there making little videos that go viral, the vast majority of those posting are so awful, so poorly acted, so cringe, that it gives you some appreciation for the acting skills of some of the major stars in Hollywood. You watch people attempt to play-act a skit, and the entire minute-and-a-half is excruciating. The vast majority of people can’t act at all, appear rather uncomfortable on camera, and are not photogenic.
I guess that is why the few that break through and go viral become so popular, they stand out against a sea of mediocrity.
I know one thing, I’ve only seen a few dozen of these videos, but watching even a few gives you a new appreciation for a Russell Crowe.

We are in a transition that has been coming for some time. It has accelerated with open borders, but it has been an inevitability. Whites were bound at some point to be the minority in the US, and people of color were going to become the dominant “races” by number. Illegals are pouring in by the millions and millions, literally, and this is dramatically affecting the date that Whites go into the minority.
Now I think the assumption has always been that this is a “great thing”, that all should have an opportunity to have the ability to have a say in government. And there was also the assumption that nothing would really change, people are people, they understand our collective societal values.
Not so fast.
I’m not sure even the most ardent liberal understood that the people of color had an undercurrent of simmering rage over their “treatment” by the White man during the “White man reign” of the past two hundred odd years, and that perhaps they might not just want to rule, but add in just a bit of revenge for their perceived suffering. I don’t think Whites who champion this new world where POC take office understand the new majority who wants to vote themselves reparations. I don’t think that White Liberals fawning over the transfer of power to POC understand the difference in “forgiveness” for transgressions that POC show their own for criminal acts, which is how we are now in a world of no cash bail, dropping charges, and having multiple convictions forgiven, ignored.
We all now live in a Justice System world of the OJ Trial. Color trumps act. Guilty doesn’t matter. It isn’t enough to prove that the man is guilty of the crime, that isn’t the issue anymore. We need to take a look at whether or not that perpetrator had to live a life of “oppression”, a life of “want” due to a racist society.
We now live in a world where the perpetrator is the victim. The act was a manifestation of his suffering and oppression. There was no crime.
White Liberals expected a transfer of “power” seamlessly, where our shared “values” would just be litigated by POC the same way everything has been run for centuries.
We are very near the time when Whites become not just the minority, but enough of a minority to the extent that POC take control and vote themselves reparations, rearrange our entire Justice System, and where some of those simmering feelings of hatred begin to bubble to the surface in policy.
Won’t that be fun! Retribution time. Get ready.
If you ignored councilwoman Sheila Dixon in Baltimore back in the 1990’s banging her shoe on the table and announcing to the old, White, fuddy-duddy, council members around the table and saying “It’s our turn”, well, people should have listened. to the tone. Something about the way she said it, there was a bit of seething anger.
Baltimore was already then a city in severe decline. And POC have taken that council over completely. So in a way Baltimore is “America in Miniature”, because what happened there is going to happen to all of America as POC take over our Federal Government completely.
How is my old hometown doing lately by the way?
Would you leave the Hyatt hard by the Inner Harbor at 10PM and take a nice evening stroll?
Would you?
You think inflation is high now, wait until those reparations checks go out.

I’m starting to see headlines in the news which are disturbing. “Does Iran have the bomb”, “Iran’s radicals Hate the West”, Iran, Iran, Iran.
Israel wants us to destroy Iran the same way we leveled Iraq and set that country. back fifty years in development. Iran is no threat to us here. Maybe a threat to Israel and their hegemony in the Middle East, but they are no threat to us.
While I am no fan of the Mullahs that rule there, from what I’ve seen the Iranian people themselves are extremely well educated, erudite, kind, and the people themselves embrace some Western values. The people don’t hate America as much as their Mullah leaders appear to hate us. And the way we arm Israel to just butcher the Palestinians, I can’t say I blame the Arab world for having issues with us.
We had Iranian neighbors in one of our old neighborhoods, who had to flee when the Shah went down. Wonderful people who valued family, education, and whose goals of family advancement and moving up in society mirrored our own values. When we went to parties at their home, and met other Iranian families I was struck by their class, education level, even their posture and presentation. They dressed impeccably, always looked amazing and spoke eloquently. They, to a person, were pure class.
The Iranian people are not our enemies. Let Israel worry about their own problems, and not entangle us.

The same thought process should hold true for any headline that begins “Russia…..”.
Once you begin to read a mainstream press story on Russia you should automatically assume that the entire article is bogus, our State Department, CIA, and White House is up to some criminal action they want to justify by blaming the “Russians”, and that the publication printing the article is nothing but a CIA mouthpiece of lies.
Russia is every bit the paper tiger that Iraq was, the only two differences being they have nuclear weapons, and we won’t find their leader cowering in a mud hole after we go to war. he will be in a lavish palace on the Black Sea, not a mud hole that doesn’t even have running water.
If Russia is so powerful how come they can’t take down Ukraine in weeks? Don’t you think we could take down Ukraine militarily in about 3 weeks? They’ve had two years and still Kiev hasn’t fallen.
“Russia” is the CIA boogey-man meant to keep us all in some kind of fear, and to justify any budget, any expense, any spending, by DC and the CIA, no matter how heinous, no matter how unjustified.
If after “Weapons of Mass Destruction” you haven’t figured out we are the bad guys, using our State Department to steal natural resources for the Oligarchy from other nations, and fomenting trouble for the benefit of our DoD and the financial coffers of defense contractors, you need a lesson in foreign affairs.

I don’t believe for a second that Trump is losing to Kamala Harris. The Kamala Harris that has served as VP these past few years. Empty suit is a compliment, she is less than zero as a human. No brains, no charm, no charisma, no capability, she is nothing.
Now that also means she is the perfect foil for the Deep State, to use as a puppet front man to pretend to be President as the usual shadow cabal really runs the show.
But as for the American people and their choice of leadership, no way I believe that she can win, absent subterfuge, ballot box stuffing, manipulation of tote machines, and other shenanigans by the Deep State.

If you think inflation is high now, wait until they send out reparations. Blacks screaming for payouts have no idea what is going to happen the day after those checks go out. The price of housing, diamonds, and luxury cars are going to skyrocket beyond belief. Because people never value money they don’t work to earn the way they do free money.
If you hear that reparations are approved buy up gaming stocks, because the casinos are going to get a windfall. Buy up hotel stocks, Four Seasons will be at full occupancy.
Buy up LMVH stock, luxury hand bags, logo goods, Gucci, the shelves will be as empty as if an LA gang of thieves hit the stores.
It will be impossible to book a hotel room in Las Vegas the day after reparations checks go out.
Free money, that doesn’t spend the way earned money does.
If I hear they approve reparation checks, I’’m buying up luxury goods stocks, Mercedes stock, gaming company stocks. Housing costs are going to double in the short term.
You can’t print two trillion dollars, mail it out to 16% of the population, and expect the status quo.
Prices are going to go through the roof.
And then there will be calls for a second round of reparations. Because everyone will cry that the buying power of all that money they were given was watered down by 50%. They were “raped” of the money by greedy corporations.
And a second set of checks will go out, as if no one in government understands supply and demand. Bank on it.

Sorry, but I simply do not understand watches still existing for sale. We all have a phone with the time in large font on the Home Screen. No one needs a watch.
When the only reason for a watch is to preen, to virtue signal wealth or status, something is wrong. Our values are messed up.
Watches should have gone the way of the buggy whip. An anachronism, best left to the past.
That watches are now an adornment, jewelry, a bauble in display of wealth and privilege, well, it tells me we are a vacuous society. Empty. Too easily impressed.
Watches should have been entirely replaced through current technology.
That they have not been is a testament to the power of marketing, and human ego.

It has been a few years since I visited Communist Mainland China but it was extremely impressive. New modern cities, new planes, new skyscrapers, wide expansive roads and brand new high speed highways.
Here in America all I see is decline. Decaying bridges, inner cities boarded up and going to seed, poverty, trash, filth.
If you came from an independent country not affiliated with either nation, and visited, you’d say one nation was ascendant, the other in complete decay.
We are, and have been, going backwards for some time.

Thought about the Vegas shooter and Vegas shooting lately? I didn’t think so. Could one man have gotten off all those shots even with that many loaded rifles? Who was the man, what were his motives? How does someone get that many guns into a Casino hotel room when a Casino has the most surveillance of any building built? Why did the story die so quickly?
Vegas shooters and DC pipe bombers. No curiosity from our big agencies. None.
The FBI is monitoring moms upset over school curriculum. They’ve established task forces to look into politically active Catholic groups.
Vegas shooter?
Nada. Nothing. A complete mystery.

People close to me have gone down the rabbit hole of “sandwiches”. Who makes the best, who has the best sub. Even burgers got into the conversation. A local bar-restaurant is serving up a lamb smash burger that was rated by one participant as the number two burger in the world. And fifteen minutes later he elevated it to number one status.
I love a good argument over sandwiches.
Best sandwich I ever had?
If you are ever in downtown Baltimore, and God forbid you should have to be there, it is a war zone, but if you find yourself anywhere near Baltimore City make it a point to stop into Attman’s for a corned been sandwich. Don’t pay extra for the “lean”, you want a little fat in your corned beef sandwich. Oh, and the only way to order it is rye with mustard. Full stop. And make sure you add a pickle from the barrel. Traditionalists would add a cream soda, but I don’t like the stuff. I go with a Coca-Cola.
They make the absolute best corned beef sandwich in the nation. Don’t give me grief New Yorkers, I’ve eaten in Katz, I’ve eaten at the Stage Door, I’ve had corned beef sandwiches in every top place in New York. To a place the sandwich was too dry.
I’ve been to a few places in LA too. Nothing compares to Attman’s. Not even the few other deli’s left on the old “Corned Beef Row” in downtown Baltimore.
Haven’t lived in that town for some sixteen years or more, but man do I miss that place. Nice family, great little unique spot.
Oh, and I need to add, just because you make a huge sub, that is just over-stuffed with peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and the thing weighs pounds, and costs $32, if you have to move aside items to look for the actual lunch meat layers, something is wrong. The actual Italian ham, capocollo, Prosciutto, and other meat ingredients should be the “star”. Not the lettuce. Being charged $ 32 for two inches of lettuce, uh, leaves a bad taste in your mouth, no pun intended.
I’m not a burger guy, so I can’t rate the lamb smash burger. But I do love a good sandwich argument. You are thinking right now about the best one you ever had. And want to add your two cents. I know it.

I have a carabiner watch attached to a belt loop. Anytime I want to know what time it is I just look down at it. No need to fumble for my clunky cell phone. And.... It's analog! Yay! Watches still have their usefulness.
I loathe insurance companies too, but that's because they are already fused with the government. We are required by every state to carry auto liability insurance if we drive. We are required by the federal regime to carry health insurance, including tranny care. Home insurance may be the least entangled, but the government still has its claws in there in terms of who insurers may deny coverage to.
If you want an example of how insurance should work, I present to you pet insurance. I carry it for my dogs, but I choose not to carry it for my cats (to "self insure") since they stay indoors. I choose my deductible, the post-deductible insurance payment percentage, and the maximum payout. I choose whether to cover injury and illness or just injury. I can even choose "well dog" care if I want.
I realize the parallel is not perfect, since I can tell the vet to end my dog's life if the care plan will be too painful or expensive. Vets can also deny emergency care (though most won't); hospitals are required by law to provide it. The point is that less government creates a better product. Your solution of more government never works and is a big part of the current problem. Or do you think that Geico, Progressive, and all the rest won't be in the room with the lawmakers making sure their profits remain fat and happy while we get more and more screwed? If you don't think that will be the case, I have a grand mountain chalet to sell you here in Indiana.
Have a blessed day.
