I had been saying this guy never deserved to go so far so fast. He spoke as a newly elected Senator at the 2004 Dem convention- and the media went nuts like they were 13 year olds at a Beatles concert. Hamoi Jane comes on Good Morning America saying he would make a good president. I told my husband this is ABSURD! He just gets elected to the Senate and this nobody should be president? I am in Pennsylvania and he gets to jump over other politicians with experience and voting history? If it wasn't for the propaganda media and the rest of the brainwashed American public, with an added dose of hated, out-of -touch Hillary for competition, he would have been properly vetted as the fraud he and wifey are. Not to mention the country club, top hatted GOP that needed to have McCain because it "was his turn". Thank God President Trump and his whistleblowers have exposed them all.

I appreciate you commenting. And adding something informative to the discourse. I had forgotten it was McCain they ran against him. What an empty suit insider. The Party was so lost then, just playing dupe to the Dems in real control.

Do you remember the picture of Che Guevara on his desk in the WH?

I didn't Kenn, but it would make sense.

Opposing socialism became known as being "racist". Sad.

He tried to destroy us. Thank God he created MAGA in response, the knee-jerk response of the silent majority to his policies.

Where is the community organizer now? With Hollywood elite, nowhere near the ghetto.

A phony human to the core.

They really believed he was going to pay their mortgages. Instead, all they got was a phone.

I didn’t know about that. I do remember when he went to communist Cuba palling around with Raúl Castro and giving hope to the Cuban regime that he would end the embargo. A minor detail is that Cuba didn’t have a real embargo and traded with many countries including Mexico, Spain and countries in South America. Families sent their loved ones food, medicines and clothing from the United States. The Communist regime had everything that they wanted while the poor had a ration card for food and clothing and often had to barter with neighbors to survive. My best recollection of Obama was of the Divider in Chief. He divided us in a class, sex, race, education and even animosity toward the police. Unfortunately his attempt to turn black men against Trump failed. It seems like the Democrats only remember this constituency around election time.

He also had his picture taken in front of a mural of Che Guevara there.

I have had that take in Obummer since the very beginning. I’d like to see a book published with these truths. Perhaps there will be a publisher bold enough to do it!

I hope your version sees the light of day. As a casual observer, I attribute the racial division to him. He damaged our country. History will not be kind to him.

So sad, but true. Electing Obama President finalized our belief that the majority of us barely recognized color anymore. We didn’t look twice if you were another color or if you were married to another color, if the prom queen & king were different colors, or if little toddlers were mixed race. We just weren’t concerned…most of us knew we are all human beings and deserved to live a good life in America! We had come so far and were coming farther. We weren’t hearing daily “news” stories of how racist we are, of rampant white supremacy, reparations, not enough color in films, cops killing blacks & so on & so on & so on. It seemed to us “white people” that we were all just living our lives and now we had a black President….so what!!

Because Obama was so worshipped (which could have been deservedly so) he had all the power to continue to bring us even closer together and stop the division during trying times like Ferguson. Sadly, instead he did the opposite and continues to choose not to do so. From that point in time, it went completely downhill.

Now we (whites) are inundated daily with being called racists, white supremists and all forms of evil labels, even by President Biden, from government officials, Hollywood elites, “news” organizations etc. To much disbelief, because of the narratives we’ve been gifted with, we still care for and love our fellow Americans of different colors and/or races, and still believe, hope and pray that we can repair the damage brought by him and many others.

Obama could have been held on high, loved and adored….to ends of the earth!

But, Obama chose hatred and division for all of us and now we choose hatred and division from him and everything he stood for and stands for today.

Sorry, after what happened four years ago and after four years of Biden, I do not look at blacks the way I did, and never will again.
