Halloween-I say if parents want their kids to dress up, have a party at your house, supply your own candy. I bet the candy purchases would be much less as the thot of cost and the “need versus bad effects of a pillowcase full of candy are realized. Someone in our neighborhood had an adult and child do the same to their candy bowl as you did. Captured on Ring. 35 years ago my kids dressed up for school parties and a couple years went on our street where a neighbor gave a quarter and another gave toothbrushes. Kids were thrilled. After that they were pretty much done.
